Boadicea, the ancient Queen who inspires our brand, was a true champion in every sense of the word and so we couldn’t be more proud to be working with Wimbledon champion Andy Murray ahead of the defence of the title he won in such style a year ago.
We have sponsored a unique painting of the world’s number one tennis player created by internationally famous artist Patrick Bremer to raise funds for two outstanding charities.
Both the breathtaking original piece of work and a unique print are being auctioned online with proceeds shared between The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and Junior Tennis Development – two causes both dear to Murray’s heart.
Bremer, who was born in Brighton and studied at Wimbledon College of Art in London, now lives and works in Berlin where he has found fame for his imaginative use of collage in his portraiture.
He is a recipient of The DeLazlo Foundation Award for his portraits from the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual Exhibition at The Mall Galleries in London and his works are on show at the Clarenden Fine Art Galleries in both Mayfair and Cobham.
